Presentation: natural wine, with hints of fresh fruit, deep, immediate, pleasant and fresh. Result of a delicate balance between the short maceration on the skins and the electric freshness. The company: Conestabile della Staffa is a company that has been producing wine since the mid-1800s on the outskirts of Montemelino in Umbria near Lake Trasimeno . The microclimate of the place is in fact affected by the benefits of the influence of the lake. The first vintage under the direction of the oenologist Danilo Marcucci dates back to 2015. The company's vineyards are located at 250-300 meters above sea level mainly on clay soils with a calcareous bottom, where they grow: Sangiovese, Colorino, Sagrantino, Gamay del Trasimeno, Canaiolo, Trebbiano Dorato, Grechetto and Malvasia . The management of the plants and the land is directed towards the total rejection of synthetic products. Spontaneous fermentations and no type of technology or intervention in the cellar, where the wines do not undergo invasive filtration.
